As a postscript to today’s stalling of the DREAM Act, a bill intended to help young people solve a life-destroying legal predicament they bear no culpability for creating, Rep. Tom Tancredo indulged himself in hysterical antics intended to attract attention to his sluggish campaign for the Republican nomination.

Tancredo (R., CO), a Republican nominee for the presidency running on a platform that has opposition to immigration as its centerpiece, called US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which is the law enforcement component of the Immigration Service, to demand that they send agents to raid Sen.
